The aim of this project is to give insight in the societal and governance consequences in case of current and future morphological changes, for example due to sea level rise, by making an inventory of existing perceptions on sediment interactions and system dynamics of the actors involved in different cases. This information will be used to formulate and to design legitimate sedimentation governance arrangements to enhance public engagement for sustainable sediment management.
